One side opens toward the forest, while the design minimizes its visual impact from the uphill access.
The interplay of offset elements also generates a central circulation core, naturally lit from above, enhancing the continuity between public and living areas.
In this Asturian context, local regulations require pitched roofs finished with curved ceramic tiles — a constraint that becomes an opportunity to reinterpret tradition through a contemporary approach.
It’s a way of creating something different while adapting to local urban codes, maintaining a traditional scale and a deep respect for the landscape and its context.
